Is my locker stored indoors?
 Yes, at U-Pak we take pride in storing your goods inside a heated, secure warehouse.
Is the locker weather proof?
Our yellow tarps that cover each locker while in the field are made of a heavy grade vinyl to protect against the elements. Designed to fit each locker snugly, with a Velcro closure and two-way bungee system to secure it, keeping things nice and dry.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, cheque, debit, Visa, Mastercard, email money transfers and payments via online banking.
Do you offer discounts?
 Found a lower price than U-Pak? Send us the name of the competitor and their quote showing the regular monthly storage price and we will beat it by 10%!* In the same spirit if you find special or discount advertised by a competitor we will match it*, just tell us the details and we’ll do the math.”

What is the cancellation policy?
 If you find that you need to cancel an order just call the office. If you provide at least 24 hours notice your charges are fully refunded.
What is your refund policy?
 Refunds for unused days or prepayments are made within 10-14 business days. Cash, email money transfers, debit or online banking payments are refunded by cheque, all other refunds will be made by the same method as originally received.
Do you pro-rate storage?

Unlike other storage facilities, we pro-rate right to the day. Once you have used our service for a minimum of one month we refund you for any unused days when you come out of storage before the end of a month.
Do I need insurance?
If you want your goods insured while they are stored in our facility, we offer a third party insurance policy starting at a minimum of $10,000.00 coverage for $14.00 per month, and can be increased at a cost of $1.40 per thousand dollars of coverage.
Will U-Pak deliver to another storage facility?
 Yes we have and yes we will. As long as you inform the storage facility of your intention of having a U-Pak locker delivered to that facility and they grant permission for the locker to be there, we are happy to deliver.If they won’t give permission for the locker to be delivered there and you intend to be in storage with U-Pak for a year or more we can provide an alternate solution to getting your goods to U-Pak.
May I have access my storage locker while it's being stored?
Yes, access to your locker is available at the warehouse with just a phone call one business day in advance by 1pm to schedule it.Drive right up to the access area for handy access to your locker.
Can I unload a locker at the warehouse?
 Yes, just call one business day in advance by 1pm to schedule the offloading of your locker. For loading a locker no advance notice is required, we always have empties available
Why doesn't U-Pak use metal containers or store outdoors?
 Metal containers, when stored outside are affected by heating and cooling each day.Research has found that moisture trapped inside untreated metal containers can cause condensation to form resulting in mold and mildew that could cause damage to stored goods.Our engineered wood constructed containers allow for the ability for moisture to dissipate, and because we store our lockers indoors they are not affected by those heating and cooling trends each day.
Can I purchase a locker?
Yes, if you like our lockers so much you want your own just call and we can quote you the price.
What times of the day do you offer delivery?
 During Spring and Summer we offer Morning, Afternoon and Evening delivery periods between 8am and noon, noon and 6pm and lastly 6pm to 8pm or until daylight lasts. During Fall and Winter we offer Morning and Afternoon delivery periods between 8am and noon and noon and 5pm or as daylight lasts.
What does the delivery charge include?
 The delivery charge includes bringing the locker to you and picking it up.When you want your locker re-delivered either to the same location or to a new location a re-delivery charge would apply.Special requests for same day pickup or assured delivery times are available upon request.
Do I need to be home when my locker is delivered?
 No, customers are not required to be onsite to accept delivery.Our customer service representatives will ask for delivery instructions to assist the driver in safely placing the locker as per your instructions.
How secure is the locker?
Each locker is equipped with a latching system so that you can install your own lock to secure it.If you require a lock, just let our customer service representatives know and we can add it to your order to be delivered with your storage locker.
Is there security at the warehouse?
Yes, in addition to the lock you have installed on your locker we have video surveillance throughout the warehouse and a monitored alarmed security system.
How long can a locker stay at my residence or business?
 You may keep your locker at your residence for as long as you need, from 1 day to 1 year or longer!

Why do so many storage companies offer a free month of storage?
From the research we’ve done we’ve found that in most cases this is conditional based on a prepaid term. If you come out of storage before that period is up you don’t receive any rebate on the unused storage, so it really isn’t free if you had to pay for storage you didn’t end up using…. That’s not The U-Pak Way.
Is there a weight limit for loading the locker?
The load limit for our engineered lockers is 4000lbs.
