Yes, at U-Pak we take pride in storing your goods inside a heated, secure warehouse.
Our yellow tarps that cover each locker while in the field are made of a heavy grade vinyl to protect against the elements. Designed to fit each locker snugly, with a Velcro closure and two-way bungee system to secure it, keeping things nice and dry.
We accept cash, cheque, debit, Visa, Mastercard, email money transfers and payments via online banking.
Found a lower price than U-Pak? Send us the name of the competitor and their quote showing the regular monthly storage price and we will beat it by 10%!* In the same spirit if you find special or discount advertised by a competitor we will match it*, just tell us the details and we’ll do the math.”

If you find that you need to cancel an order just call the office by 8pm the night before and your charges are fully refunded with no silly administration fee.
Refunds for unused days or prepayments are made within 10-14 business days. Cash, email money transfers, debit or online banking payments are refunded by cheque, all other refunds will be made by the same method as originally received.
Unlike other storage facilities, we pro-rate right to the day. Once you have used our service for a minimum of one month we refund you for any unused days when you come out of storage before the end of a month.
Upak does not insure goods stored in our facilities. We strongly recommend that the renter obtain their own insurance coverage. The renter may contact Storage Shield for coverage.
Yes we have and yes we will. As long as you inform the storage facility of your intention of having a U-Pak locker delivered to that facility and they grant permission for the locker to be there, we are happy to deliver.If they won’t give permission for the locker to be delivered there and you intend to be in storage with U-Pak for a year or more we can provide an alternate solution to getting your goods to U-Pak.
Yes, access to your locker is available at the warehouse with just a phone call one business day in advance by 1pm to schedule it.Drive right up to the access area for handy access to your locker.
Yes, just call one business day in advance by 1pm to schedule the offloading of your locker. For loading a locker no advance notice is required, we always have empties available
Metal containers, when stored outside are affected by heating and cooling each day.Research has found that moisture trapped inside untreated metal containers can cause condensation to form resulting in mold and mildew that could cause damage to stored goods.Our engineered wood constructed containers allow for the ability for moisture to dissipate, and because we store our lockers indoors they are not affected by those heating and cooling trends each day.
Yes, if you like our lockers so much you want your own just call and we can quote you the price.
We offer morning and afternoon delivery between 9am – 5pm, Monday thru Saturday. We do not deliver on Sundays. You do not need to be present for delivery or pick-up as we will get detailed delivery/location details so we know where to place the storage locker.
The delivery charge includes bringing the locker to you and picking it up. When you want your locker re-delivered either to the same location or to a new location a re-delivery charge would apply. Special requests for same day pickup or assured delivery times are available upon request.
No, customers are not required to be onsite to accept delivery.Our customer service representatives will ask for delivery instructions to assist the driver in safely placing the locker as per your instructions.
Each locker is equipped with a latching system so that you can install your own lock to secure it.If you require a lock, just let our customer service representatives know and we can add it to your order to be delivered with your storage locker.
Yes, in addition to the lock you have installed on your locker we have video surveillance throughout the warehouse and a monitored alarmed security system.
You may keep your locker at your residence for as long as you need, from 1 day to 1 year or longer!
From the research we’ve done we’ve found that in most cases this is conditional based on a prepaid term. If you come out of storage before that period is up you don’t receive any rebate on the unused storage, so it really isn’t free if you had to pay for the storage you didn’t end up using…. That’s not The U-Pak Way.
Items cannot be perishable, combustible, hazardous, poisonous or illegal. Alcohol is not allowed on the premises. Plants and animals (living or dead!) may not be stored. You can store mechanical items in your unit if you disconnect the battery and remove all fuel.
The load limit for our engineered lockers is 4000lbs.
Yes our vehicle storage (including boats, RV & cars) are secured behind fully fenced area and monitored.
